DAANISH

Daanish is a charitable initiative that enables women and girls in Afghanistan and its neighbouring Iran and Pakistan to access education and higher education opportunities.

Advocacy: We  actively engage with universities and other educational institutions, advocating for financial support and more opportunities for Afghan women. 

Mentorship: We connect, facilitate, and provide one-to-one mentorship to Afghan women to overcome financial, logistical, and other challenges and access learning opportunities. 

Opportunities Hub: We provide a centralised database of educational opportunities and resources—both online and offline—initiated by different organisations and groups since the Taliban announced restrictions on girls' education. ​

Daanish is a member of the Alliance for Education of Women in Afghanistan (AEWA).
